A palmetto sways gently with the breeze, a warm sunset glow cascades over a chimney top. The familiar clip-clop breaks the silence as a horse drawn carriage makes its way down Church Street. Oh how I love that sticky southern air! It’s easy to get swept up into the romantic inspiration and vibrant life that breathes through this city. Charleston is absolutely, hands down one of my favorite places to shoot! 

On this particular evening, I met with Bridgette and Owen to capture their 6th wedding anniversary! I was honored to be a part of their date night celebrating such a sweet couple. We walked from Rainbow Row towards Church St. stopping along that way at several locations. One of the goals we had with their session was to capture that unmistakable Charleston aesthetic: Pastel row homes, cobblestone, Columnar trees, etc. We even found a few hidden gems along the way.
